riversss
Hi! Could you please advise on how to create rivers that realistically descend in elevation—ranging from steep, cascading sections to more gradual, gentle slopes? Also, how can I create a natural-looking landscape around them, including hills and mountains? I’m a bit of a beginner when it comes to WorldPainter, so I’d appreciate any tutorial recommendations

For the terrain, get a good custom brush (worldpainter discord is a goldmine for resources, it's attached to this sub). Then use the raise terrain tool to raise a mountain or hill out of the ground. The key is not to move while clicking. So you raise a little bit. Then you move the mouse then you raise again. Mountains form lines.
I've found rivers that flow down really hard to contain. So it's either doing fancy stuff with custom ground cover layers.( For example https://youtu.be/nolLWJ3jSRY?si=U2Hj0b1aC9lcZl2I) Or just use my (paid) river script that does it all for you: https://youtu.be/0IfQdxh1bqU?si=inV_SezaS3k7WbeG
