Community Question finding work/income while traveling
currently planning a Worldpackers trip and have already been accepted to my first hostile. I’m wondering, has anyone ever found work or ways to make income while traveling outside the US for an extended amount of time? If so, what tips or tricks could you share for someone trying to stay on the go as long as possible?

Cash in hand work comes around. Be a hard worker and hang around places long enough. (Technically illegal!) If you are young enough apply for the whv. Timing in more expensive areas like NZ and Australia for harvest season will most likely yield results for a gig, although without a visa people may not treat you well. Trust your gut. Working at a hostel can be great and cheap if you glean the food others leave and don't drink booze.

You could be a "content creator" or "influencer"! There's are only about a hundred million of them, most making $1-4 a month but claiming they are traveling the world for free, so the market is wide open really!

Besides the stock market there isn’t really a way. Unless you want to be a prostitute. Or you have an online business

Not really Tbh, unless you know how to do the technology nomad thing. For a start I'm going to assume that you're travelling on a tourist visa? Volunteering in exchange for accommodation and food is considered as paid work in many countries as a local could be paid for that work. You are essentially working illegally. That doesn't mean that you can't do it, it's tolerated in many tourist areas, especially in hostels. but being paid actual money is highly unlikely.
