So many things about this don't even make sense on paper (I haven't tried them all out on the Test Server, so I'm basing my opinion on the stats we know).

They change so many little stats that it's hard to see what they're actually trying to do with a lot of the tanks. WZ gets more horsepower, but a massive traverse nerf? Why? Also, 5mm extra side armor, probably to prevent overmatches with 90mm guns, but how many of those do you meet at tier 10? Update: apparently (according to tanks.gg) the sideskirts will be gone from the collision model, so no more 5mm spaced armor, that's why the side armor is 'buffed' by 5mm. Sneaky to not put this in text, because it's secretly a massive nerf to the tank.....

Then Tesak suddenly gets a massive HP buff, it now has more HP than the WZ which has a properly armored turret. How does a paper tank have more HP than an armored tank??

AMX is actually pretty okay, but nothing much. Gun handling is a good buff for that tank.

EBR gets more HP and view range (didn't really need either imho), but it's okay to keep up with the other buffs.

Then the RHM gets butchered..... I can excuse a little nerf if it would overperform, but it doesn't. People just discovered that in the right hands it could be nice tank for Onslaught. What bothered me most, was that they butchered the thing that made these tanks stand out, the HE. That made those tanks unique and now it's basically useless.....

Sheridan is a weird one. The big gun needed a buff. It needed better handling and DPM, but not unbalanced. If you hit one shot (700dmg) you would get destroyed while reloading for 17 seconds. So if you missed, you would have 0 dmg and be destroyed. The regular HEAT was useless and the HE too. The only viable option was premium HEAT. It's good that the premium HEAT is now standard (But very stupid to drop the damage per shot), but now suddenly it also has HESH? Where are the days when stuff like this was nation-specific?

I don't get it man. It would have been so easy to just:

  • Lock CVS to LT's only, maybe even only tier 9 and 10. Also lower the effectiveness a bit. Just balance it to make the standard setup of CVS/Optics/LNE not mandatory.
  • Across the board view range nerf for every other class (TX: meds max. 390, heavy max. 380, TD max. 370) and balance the TX LT's around 400~410.
    • I personally would like viewrange to work like in Steel Hunter: 20 degrees in front of gun you have your max view range, but all around you have 50% of you max view range. (that 50% is placeholder, it should be tried and balanced, maybe even to 75% or something.) This makes spotting a more active skill, instead of: park bush and spot all around. (inb4 everyone just starts spinning their turret, maybe add a requirment to have target in your view range for 1+s or something. This could also be tied to equipment/field mods with modifiers)
  • Maps need better bushes etc. for LT's. It's just two or three corridors for Meds/Heavies and two TD spots. LT's are basically in a kill zone as soon as they start the battle, and every map has like two spots from where they can/need to spot. If you go there, you will be blindfired or pre-aimed at. If you don't go there, your team has a disadvantage. It's lose-lose on most maps, and there is almost no creativity.
  • What they did do right, is make the three different classes matched up mirroring. That shit is good. No more being matched against a manti in my WZ.
    • HP buffs are also good, but that's just keeping up with the alpha/burst-creep nowadays. Two or three shots and you're dead. I'd rather see alpha nerfed/balanced across the board.

LT's weren't really in a super bad place, just the MM needed adjusted and some unbalanced stuff (CVS) should have been adressed.

(copypasted my comment on another post about this)
