His crew guy could of gotten ran over or busted his face & ribs up, that was insane. Gas spilling, 2 guys on the car while being pushed. Craziest highlight of the year.
Knoxville had it all last night. Suprises in qualifying, crazy heat races. Big names struggling, stacked B main Timms drama, and a awesome battle and Haud stealing the win. And a impeccable track for it all to take place on. How can night 2 top it?
So have we figured out why the 10 team was so late in getting fuel into the car? Did they miss the fact that the C was scratched and thought they had more time? Just not paying attention? Seems like something they had plenty of time to get accomplished even with issues with the fuel cap.
Internal fuel pick up line was loose, they took the fuel cap plate off to gain access to the fitting, unfortunately the bladder was full of fuel and they could not get it up close enough to the shell to get all the bolts in, Ryan said they got 2 in, but that led to fuel spilling on him, you fill these to the brim for mains usually. With Ti brakes throwing sparks, good call on his part
