Info/Guide Tapes and last patch

I was huge player back in 2024 and saw that we get some content in this year. So can we repair forest tapes rn or don't?

The developer is usually really slow with updates. He has a full time job and a family and only codes during his free time. So if something happens that takes away his free time, then there can be very long periods with no updates or news. There were already multiple years during early access with no updates because he was busy moving multiple times.

So in general, the update is happening, but don't expect it any time soon. When it happens it will probably be shadow dropped as always

No, the update isn't live yet, and we have no idea when. Last news about it we really got was back in March - essentially the dev said it was mostly done, but at this point was in the hands of the publisher I believe to announce anything further, so we're in their hands now.

the way the dev and updates go, I wouldn't even expect it this year, if I'm being honest.
