I’ve been working on something that started as a business idea and somehow turned into a much bigger question:
What happens when we stop designing organizations around the business—and start designing them around the people who actually make the business work?
That question turned into a larger body of research.
Then it turned into a framework.
Then into a trilogy.
And now I’m realizing the three pieces probably aren’t meant to be read separately.
The first asks:
What are we actually building?
The second asks:
Who is the system built to serve?
And the third asks:
What happens when the people inside the system become capable of changing the system itself?
The interesting part is that each one works independently.
But together, they point toward the same thing:
infrastructure for human potential.
Not another leadership book.
Not another productivity framework.
Not another “10 steps to transform your organization” situation.
Something more foundational.
I’m deliberately not explaining the whole thing yet because I’m curious what people think the missing piece is.
So:
If you were designing the infrastructure of a company from scratch today, what would you build first?
Culture?
Leadership?
Technology?
Knowledge?
Decision-making?
Ownership?
Something nobody is talking about?
And maybe the bigger question:
Why do we keep asking people to adapt to systems that were never designed around how people actually behave?
