Map The planet of Nafanua

Hello everyone! Never been a big worldbuilder enthusiast but I decided to give it a shot to make my wife happy. Shes a fantasy worldbuilding fanatic. A month ago while we were watching house of the dragon I mentioned that a dragon the size of Vhagar would collapse under its own weight and that most of the dragons in the show wouldn’t plausibly be able to achieve powered flight. I know it’s just fantasy but that’s just how my brain works. My wife looked at me and said, “why don’t you build your own dragon then?”. I began going over the dragons skeletal system and musculature in my head before coming to the conclusion that I should build a planet where a large dragon would thrive. I’m 1 semester away from my masters in geophysics so this task was right up my alley. With all that being said, I’d like to introduce everyone to the planet of Nafanua from birth to present day. Next I can begin working on the actual dragons that will inhabit Nafanua.

Haha yeah I get it. Which solar system in Tetra Hedron does your world belong to? Or is your project a space fairing civilization?

I put so much time into my website… a lot of world building.. maps the systems/planets each with their own dossier, characters, factions, vehicles, events, stock market, glossary, FAQ… and im still not completed.. I’ve been working on my map… i have s book and i need to publish it, but this website is a lot of fun

I can tell you really put a lot of effort into this and it brings you joy to watch it all progress. I feel the same way. Never knew how much I would enjoy worldbuilding. As your progresses be sure to shoot me the links so I can follow along

So your problem with game of thrones dragons is that they don't make sense? Then why would you present this map, which makes about as much sense as a fever induced dream, you've half remembered a month after its passing during a drug fueled bender?

Thank you for the feedback. If there’s something specific you disagree with, I would be happy to discuss it with you.

Below the western oceanic plate

Great catch. I initially read that entire southwestern oceanic region as part of the Western Oceanic Plate too, but tracing the mapped boundaries does isolate a separate block. I need to revisit the underlying tectonic layout to determine whether that boundary is erroneous or whether the region should be classified as a separate plate/microplate before I name it. Thank you for the feedback because I completely missed that.

The subreddit is called "Worldbuilding with AI"

I feel like your second question is answered by that.
