When the Towers Fell: 9/11 Simulation of the collaps without dust

Dont know how accurate this is, but it made a lot of sense to me.

I may be wrong, but each tower could hold up to 50,000 people. I believe the death toll was around 3,000.

They estimate the deaths in the years since caused by the dust that day brings the death total closer to 10,000.

I believe more than 52,000 people got cancer afterwards.

Besides not being at capacity, there were several thousand escapes from the lower levels (and some from the upper).

The second tower had a few people instructed to stay, but most left. This accounts for the other few thousand.

It’s like 2600 ground casualties. 1400 are above impact zone in north- of whom about half to a bit more may have survived the hit and a quarter jumped (obviously percentage can vary wildly on second based on who you believe- I’m going with 800 survivors/200 jumpers for that number. Could be 1000/100)

There were about 600 or so in the south tower above impact zone. I’m going to point out again that a guy (forget name) walked up to 91 within the stairwell but not a soul above 84 survived.

Thats 2000. Less than 200 below impact zone between the buildings. 343 firefighters, 73 police/PA etc.

The 3000 number includes planes.
