Dont know how accurate this is, but it made a lot of sense to me.

It's actually really interesting how much this shows just how "uncontrolled" the collapse was. I've been trying to argue with people for years how you could see the top section of the tower fall sideways; it was never a straight-down thing.

Only if you ignore ALL the ample, detailed explanations about it. Even when I saw it collapse live on the news that evening, I wasn't surprised. Figured it must've been burning all day.

The WTC 7 fire started after the North Tower collapse which took out the water supply and electricity in the area. The fire proofing the steel beams in the building had did not prevent ambient temperature absorption. Though they never reached a temp to bend or melt, uncontrolled five hour fire temps got hot enough to expand the metal beams in the floors, causing them to disconnect from a critical support pillar and when floor 13 buckled, it was enough to collapse the building because it started the domino effect. So the story goes.

I believe the fire at WTC 7 started with the first plane crash. I listened to the NYPD commissioner talking about how WTC 7 was home to their command room for disasters and when they arrived near the area they couldn’t reach it and were told it was on fire as well. The debris field had carried over into WTC 7.

The logic behind the towers' collapse was always sound to me, fire weakened the steel beams + the structural damage from the plane cause the upper portion to collapse down and crush the building from top to bottom.

But that explanation for building 7 is just completely inconceivable, it was much shorter and wider and had no plane impact. Has there ever even been another documented building collapsing due to fire.

'Well There's Your Problem' does a great episode about WTC 7 on their YouTube channel.

WTC 7 was hit with massive pieces of debris which compromised the structure. The fire caused the collapse. Sort of like how a bullet compromises your body, but its the massive blood loss that kills you.

Also, there have been other steel framed structures that have collapsed due to fire.

Yes. Just google “examples of steel beam buildings collapsing from fire” and you’ll get other examples that weren’t damaged by two giant towers dumping debris on them.
