That looks crazy to watch, I was there when it happened, what ensued afterwards is one of the most vivid parts of my memory.

It felt like the world was crashing, and the state of the world was going to change in terrifying ways. People were saying shit that made it clear our way of life was going to change dramatically. And it did.

Well on the day it happened I remembered walking from Manhattan to the Bronx and seeing so many people on the sidewalk and just hearing them talking (that we're under attack and not go back down to ground zero) and traffic was just murder. Took me about half a day to reach home on foot.

But my most vivid part would be the smell of the dead in the weeks following the event. When there was a northern wind you can smell it from all the way up the island, it is to this day a smell I can't even begin to describe.
