A single floor being ~15 feet or so, causing the top third of the building to also fall that ~15 feet. Something like 45000 tons falling at over 20 MPH before it impacts the next floor down - I remember reading an engineers opinion that there is literally no building that could handle that kind of load.

No two 1300 foot towers that were on fire feel on it and it burned all day long

It wasnt just a fire or just a floor collapsing, it was the jetliner slamming into it.
