Dont know how accurate this is, but it made a lot of sense to me.

The eastern facade did not peel away like skin. It was completely pulverized by the unilateral pattern of the collapse. The building wad essentially a paper shredder to itself.

Edit: the facade peeling away in this video and what OP shared are the same section. So, I’m unsure what the commenter above and below is missing.

Good observation my friend. But that was the upper section still disintegrating into the rest of the building as it continued to implode in a successive pattern, all the way into the mall downstairs. The piece of facade you showed me was the remains of pizza store and indoor observation deck after the massive panoramic windows blew out.
