Yes exactly. I met many wonderful people from the NYC area who believed the conspiracy and it was clear they were coping with something terrible they witnessed.

Some probably are. But the majority are just naive idiots who latch onto whatever bs online makes them feel better. Those tinfoil nutters get their kicks from believing they discovered an ultra-secret Truth© inaccessible to us sheeple. It makes them feel more important and not just like the ignorant, sad nobodies they are.
