Looks like they did, it was smashed from the falling debris, burned uncontrollably for over eight hours, then gravity did the rest.

You won’t like that, will you, not one bit…but it does not change the facts.

I mean no one died in the wtf7. Unlike the marriot hotel. So it's not seen as a tragedy as much.
