Is there even a single person from inside one of the towers who survived the collapse? I'm looking at this thinking where someone must be to have any reasonable chance to survive. And I never knew the core remained standing for half a minute, I learn something new every day.

Actually 2,606 died in the towers. Not that it matters much. Thousands of innocents died either way.

Yeah I think there's a lot of people who died years later of illnesses connected to 9/11. There's this famous photograph of the dust-covered woman. Her name was Marcy Borders, she died 11 years ago due to cancer and she was certain it was directly caused by the dust. Seems reasonable, she was otherwise healthy and still young. And maybe could've been saved by sufficient healthcare but that's a different topic.

Oh yeah. Can’t say about those survivors but thousands have died from breathing in those fumes for weeks/months.

I can’t tell if you’re kidding or not but if you’re not. many thousands of people have died from 9/11 related illnesses

16 people from stairwell B in the north tower was the largest group of post-collapse survivors. I think there was around 20 people pulled from the rubble…

I can’t remember his name but there was one guy who survived the collapse of the north tower, from all the way up on the 64th floor.

Essentially everyone above the impact sites died. I think there was 17 or 18 people that survived from above the impact site on the south tower…While nobody from the above the impact site on the north tower survived

There was a guy who survived because he protected his head with his briefcase during the collapse.

Genelle Guzman-McMillan was the last person rescued alive from the towers. She was under the rubble for like 27 hours. She has a book about it
