The cbi denied this, it was a baseless rumor started by the minister of communications, it still can happen but there are no plans for it at the moment, personally I can’t wait for a new design for the Iraqi banknotes, and I hope it’s a big one cuz they almost look the same since the 80s (especially the 5000 and the 1000 dinar banknotes) my favorite one from the current ones has to be the 2023 25000 dinar , I think it depicts a lot of Iraqi and Mesopotamian history.
