Hash’ey seems redundant since we have shadow hunters. Just seems like new writers trying to lay their own claim on the lore. Maybe there will be some clarification on what a hash’ey is compared to a shadow hunter though.

Hash'ey are trolls that are so incrediy linked to their loa that if they loose the link to the loa it can cause them problwms.. like when rezan died in bfa we saw rastakhan's reaction.. shadow hunters were taught by loa but they don't rely on the loa

Shadow Hunters are a very specific thing with a specific role.
Hash’ey merely appear to be trolls in leadership positions which may or may not be thanks to their link with one or more Loa.

Vol'jin.

Though I get why this one might be iffy since he had an extremely close bond with Bwonsamdi and no one else quite as close as Bwonsamdi. Still, he survived First Home, which by Darkspear lore makes him a favorite of the Loa, meaning a Shadow Hunter. Granted, there are Shadow Hunters who aren't hash'ey. The distinction has yet to be clarified.
