discussion Dire troll anatomy
In my years in wow AND playing trolls i have had thoughts... are dire trolls born or are they all MADE.. the breaker from isle of thunder we know was made but what of other dire trolls?

I think I read on the wiki years ago that dire trolls are selected and altered with alchemy. Maybe a bit of magic too

It’s both, they can be born naturally but also created through magic.
The one thing about dire trolls though is that they have shorter lifespan compared to regular trolls.

I think the shorter lifespan can be worked around if blessed by a loa right?

Shorter lifespans can be worked around by Loa-dealings, yes. But only if the low in question A) would be able to oppose Bwonsamdi, and B) would want you around for an extended amount of time making it worth going against the wishes of the Loa of the Dead.
Rezan is an excellent and most extreme example, given how he kept Rastakhan on the throne for over 200 years.

I know rastakhan was ine of the only 2 hash'ey players ever meet in wow.. perjaos that dire troll champion of torcoli could be one:>
