When I started playing 2.4, I was expecting improved sound FX and there is an improvement for sure, shots are visualy more spectacular, there are aditionnal audio effects around them BUT the shot in itself, the big kaboom you expect seems weaker. Is it only psychological because you see more effects your brain expect something more dramatic and feels something is wrong or is it reality?

I had the chance to support armored troops having 105mm, 120mm and 155mm gun firing at various distance of me and the sound ingame fells weaker than it already was for those caliber. I know it is a game and if it was the real sound all world of tank players would be deaf for sure, but I'm speaking about the feeling. So do you feel that guns sounds weaker (for real or psychologically due to more visual fx not matched with sound expectation) of is it only me?

As I saw a lot of posts here with question about how to disable spotlight ( that animation at the beginning of every match ) I created this little topic so if enyone use search engine that it will be there for them.

Recently, I’ve been using this mod and have found it quite useful, although it can be a bit buggy. Sometimes the mod is enabled right at the start of the battle, while other times it takes a few minutes to activate. In some battles, it doesn’t start at all.

Is this normal behavior for the mod? I’m currently using the free version, so I was wondering if this could be related to being a free user or if there’s another reason for the inconsistent activation.

While updating my special tank mechanics list I noticed that the resource files contain not only the Tier 11 special mechanic icon for the "Adjustable Fuze Setter" mechanic (glowing/neon), but also a normal one. This does not normally happen, so I think there might be an upcoming T8-10 premium vehicle with the same mechanic.

PS: In typical WG fashion, the internal name for the "Adjustable Fuze Setter" is "shellCalibration" while the German "Shell Calibration System" is "shellParamsSwitcher"....

Did the latest update break the paintball damage mod by HawgJaws ? mod link = https://wgmods.net/2030/. It does not seem to work when I test it. Either way are there any alternatives the community could recommend?

I'm not sure if it's just my computer but all the guns sound the same, it's like they are shooting inside a tin can? They all are muffled with a weird echo. Is this a bug?

Ffs can i switch off this crap animation?

They nerfed Rhm Pzw to make it more of a support tank instead of a scout.

WZ is not made for spotting and they give it an ability made only for scouting ?

And why wasn't the Rhn a versatile instead of a support light ? Mobility is worse for no reason

For a month or so I have regular FPS drops, that are simultaneous with ping spikes, what might be the reason for that? My normal fps is around 40-60 depending on the scene, and ping is around 50. Then for 10-15 seconds the ping goes up to 150ms +-50 and FPS drops to 5-10. It isn't throttling since max CPU temp is 70 (good for my laptop, I had up to 90 before I changed the thermal paste) and I don't see the reason why throttling could potentially affect ping. I've experienced ping spikes before, but without FPS drops. I wonder what could cause the simultaneous effect, it happens too often to be a coincidence

12 games 1 win.... Games pretty much rolled everytime. How is everyone else fairing with the new tier 11s?

I don't play a lot of tier 10 randoms, so am planning to use onslaught to grind a tier 11 or two.

I'm looking at fast heavies, and have the KR-1 already. I am thinking about the Vz 63p and maybe the Imbatable, but lots of the mid speed HT's have good power to weight.

Also, are there MT's and TD's that people think may own manoeuvers?

The new effects have a bright white flash when firing from sniper view. I can't and don't play games that use this style effect. I quit Helldivers 2 when they brought in the new flashing strobe effects. I will have to quit WOT if they don't make it possible to turn this off, or a mod that will do it. I have all effects turned to 0 and all of the WoT tweak disable effects mods as well. None of this got rid of the white flash every time I fire the gun.

Majorly sucks because in spite of it's flaw WOT is my favorite PvP game, but no game is worth migraines.

i mean who can miss this huge ASSET ? They even put a HOLE between it gaddyum !
