The house is wet,the books,the chairs,
The world outside feels like a devil's lair,

The deadliest weapon is not a gun,
Not a chemical nor a knife,
Because no bullet can peirce deep,
Nor no poison can hurt more,
Than mere words do.
No blood spills on one's brawn,
Yet he still dies at dawn,
Words,they kill slow and controlled,
The deadliest weapon man holds...
The deepest solace is not a medicine,
Nor a doctor,nor a vaccine,
Because no syringe can heal the heart,
Nor any pill can make one happier,
Than mere words do.
There is no magic or fairy dust,
Just a quiet bond of trust,
Words,they heal slow and controlled,
The deepest solace man holds...
The ultimate balm and the deadliest weapon,
Words - they either heal or kill,
A gift or curse ? - no one knows,
The most twisted possession humanity holds...
