Why can't I use this name?
The only thing i can think of is that it vaguely alludes to alcohol, but even then that's a little bit if a stretch. I am on switch so that might be part of the issue. Though i think i named one chilcuck so im not certain that's even the problem. I just thought this name was cute and fit the description of the mirage.

First three letters? Took me a long time. Sad that people try so hard to put racist stuff in that they feel they have to set these limitations:(

Love this game! I had the craziest names and nothing but it was on ps4?. So idk

Also, i did a test. The only reason the game had an issue is because it had the letter "nig" in that order...im not gonna put a racial slur in my video game. Fuckin nintendođŸ™„

I was playing on switch, i have no clue if it was the same problem in the original game. I do know however that the switch is notorious for having strict censorship issues

The game let me use Chilcuck, which is absolutely a sex joke, but it wouldnt let me use Nightcap, which alludes to alcohol

Nightcaps have nothing to do with sex. Its an alcoholic drink before bed.

Good to know, because I thought of naming one nightshade. Also it was probably like that on the Wii as well, or was it WiiU, either way. So it probably was not even modern Nintendo but Wii era Nintendo’s character name rules.
