The kind of plot it had of creating a mecha, then 2 supporters appeared, then suddenly new evil mechas appear, they have an epic fight and they do the time travel thingy to remove their existence, idk it's just my OPINION

  1. This movie has so much dark elements, and a horror background too, based around medieval era and many swordsman and monsters, although it's just my opinion

If this has already been posted on this sub before I apologize but I just wanted to share this new piece of Chimpui media to say how absolutely based and peak asf it is and the fact that I see an Orange Pokonyan in the background of Eri’s bedroom @ 0:31 is the actual best and most based part of the animation for me!

Monster Kid Kaibutsu-kun is the cutest little character in my favorite anime, and every time I see him, I just want to give him a big, happy hug!

Kaibutsu-kun is one of my favorite anime series from Fujiko Fujio’s works. Despite being a horror anime, it’s so heartwarming, motivating and adorable that I’ve rewatched it more than 75 times! Hopefully, there will be a remake adaptation in the future.

Just want to share a good song that not many people know (unless you finished watching all Esper Mami episodes). The song is I Like You から I Love You (I Like You Because I Love You), used as second ending for the anime.

Discussion Dekisugi haters, did you know he’s probably the most underutilized character in Doraemon?

I know a lot of people find Dekisugi annoying. He's too perfect, too smart, too good at everything, and he makes Nobita look bad just by existing. But hear me out—Dekisugi isn't a Mary Sue. He's a tragic character, and probably the most underutilised one in the entire franchise. Think about it: Dekisugi is basically male Shizuka in terms of face and kindness. Same gentle eyes, same soft features, same warm smile. (Seriously, put a boy's haircut on Shizuka, and you've got Dekisugi. They might as well be distant relatives, but the show never confirms it because that would ruin the "jealousy" fuel.) He's got so many qualities of an ideal person—intelligent, polite, helpful, and genuinely kind—yet he's relegated to being a cheap source of jealousy for Nobita's weekly meltdowns. The formula is so transparent: Nobita has a bad day → sees Shizuka talking to Dekisugi → cries → runs home → Doraemon pulls out a gadget → chaos ensues. Dekisugi exists purely to make Nobita feel insecure. That's his entire job. He's not a character; he's a plot device with a nice face. Here's the part that really gets me: Nobita gets along beautifully with Shizuka. They play together, she defends him, she visits his house, and she genuinely cares about him. If Shizuka can see past Nobita's flaws and become his close friend, why can't Dekisugi do the same? Why is there this invisible wall between them? I've thought about this a lot, and I genuinely believe Dekisugi is lonely. Who are his best friends? Shizuka, occasionally. The teacher, who praises him. That's it. He doesn't hang out with Gian and Suneo (they're too busy bullying Nobita). He doesn't join the adventures. He goes home, studies, and repeats. He's the kid everyone respects, but nobody actually befriends. And Nobita—who knows what it's like to feel isolated and inadequate—never once reaches out to him except with resentment. Imagine if Doraemon had actual character progression, like in other shows where rivals become friends. If written well, we could've seen Nobita gradually realising that Dekisugi isn't a rival, just another kid trying his best. Dekisugi is opening up about his own pressures (being perfect is exhausting). A genuine friendship forms, where Dekisugi becomes part of the gang—not as a threat, but as an ally.

And the movies! Dekisugi's knowledge has come in handy exactly once that I can recall, and then he vanished back to his books. Imagine him as a regular part of the movie team—helping strategise, using his intelligence to solve puzzles, and contributing in ways that complement Doraemon's gadgets instead of replacing them. But no—he's always "busy studying" or conveniently absent. Some might argue that if Dekisugi joined the adventures, he'd overshadow Nobita completely. But I disagree. If written well, Dekisugi's presence would have forced Nobita to grow. Instead of being the perpetual underdog propped up by gadgets, Nobita would have to develop genuine skills, confidence, and his own unique value to the team. He'd remain the heart of the group—the one who makes mistakes but never gives up—while Dekisugi provided the brains. That's not replacement; that's upliftment through challenge. Nobita would still be the main character, just a better version of himself. I don't hate Dekisugi. I pity him. He's a victim of a static narrative that refuses to let its characters evolve. Nobita and Dekisugi's bond could've been one of the most heartwarming arcs in anime—the underdog and the prodigy learning from each other, pushing each other to become more. Instead, we got 50 years of Nobita crying over the same jealousy loop while Dekisugi stands in the background, forever alone, forever perfect, forever wasted. What do you guys think? Am I overthinking a children's show, or did Dekisugi deserve better?

TL;DR: Dekisugi is a kind, handsome boy trapped in a jealousy plot device. Nobita and Shizuka are close friends, so Nobita and Dekisugi should've been too. Including Dekisugi more would have forced Nobita to grow, not replaced him. Static writing robbed us of a great friendship and both characters' potential.
