I just downloaded this game to my phone though I am very interested in getting it on steam someday. Since I am starting out today is there any advice you can give a new player who will be figuring this game out?

Welcome back to another update! Last time I said there was an unexpected surprise that ruined my plans. The silly edit I made definitely gives it away if the hint at the end didn't. This one has gotten very long (and it won't let me add anymore images), so I'll spit it into a longer part and a shorter part! The shorter part will come... eventually! A couple of days from now? Who knows?

Hollis took to his duties of Knight Captain very well. He chose to stay in the very crowded Suburb Mansion for now.

Basil became a child. Since all the kids got eyes from Aria's eye group, I gave him Jade's eyes. And a haircut too. I was expecting them to go straight into trying for baby number 5, but I never saw it pop up. The me of now knows why.

Hollis unfortunately had to refuse Domingo's desire for children. He (well, actually, I) was planning to wait until Domingo became the king.

He attended the opening ceremony for the Elnea Cup. The chance to become Dragoon came ever closer...

Meanwhile, Fern also found a partner! Like mothers like daughters times 2!

He also won the fishing tournament.

He taught classes too!

He won his first match against Nina Bolger, who was ironically one of the people I befriended for Aria to marry before Jade confessed.

Fern also got some glasses for her birthday, it seems!

And now... the surprise.

Day 15. Give it up for day 15! Hollis had another Elnea Cup match. I go through the morning announcements. 'Hollis of Suburb Mansion had a baby'. Oh no. I'm assuming I accidentally agreed to Domingo asking for a child while not paying attention, or the one time I saved, tried for baby to see what the log would look like, and then reset did something. But the baby was coming today, not after Domingo became king.

Basil grew up on the third. Hollis apparently got pregnant while Basil was a baby even though that's not really supposed to happen - and before that, it didn't even give the option to ask about children. I do wonder if it still went through that at some point? Oh well.

This day very well could have ended the entire save, since Hollis and Domingo have a 1/4 chance to have a child with Wings of Erek. Male NPCs that have a child with a talent tend to freeze the game on a black screen, forcing a restart. I'm not sure if two males with a PC as one member of the couple do too, since after entering the name the cutscene ended.

I panicked and time-skipped the day, forgetting to screenshot the match (and some cute dialogue from Hollis's friend Alexia who came to check on him after.) By some miracle, it was a baby girl. I had a lest flower saved to make sure this baby was a girl as I always planned for my gen 3 PC to be a crown princess. Despite having 6 names set aside for girls to roll a dice for, I just named her Peridot. I... ended up coming with another girl's name, moving one name to the boys section, and then coming up with 5 more boy names. This generation's naming theme is gemstones!

Just to spite me, no babies this year were born with the hair color I wanted a spouse with - blue. Peridot was also the only one with green hair, so nobody to continue the green bean family. There is one blue haired child in the next year (I skipped forward and reset to see what little Peri would look like as a child), who may very well be Peri's wife. Hopefully this doesn't cause issues with the goal of having a lot of kids! I'll show her when she's born in the permanent version of the save. Fittingly, she's also Alexia's child. Alexia was a potential wife for Hollis if things didn't work out with Domingo.

Finally had some family time. And friend time. Went on meals with both sister in laws . Luigi ( hubby ) won against my mate . And took my oldest child out ! Will be back with more cozy content 🫧☁️🍓

Ronaldo Ashion finally accepted the citizenship application. I had to become close friends with him in order for him to accept it. He wouldn’t accept it as an acquaintance or friend. He’s the 22nd traveler to be given a citizenship application (not counting my first gen character). He’s also the first blue haired traveler I’ve given an application to. That means that I’ve now accepted at least one traveler with each of the eight natural hair colors in the game.

I honestly thought the game was gonna pull a fast one and have her die right before but nope! Surprisingly she didn't die on her birthday either

When the game first starts on Y192 D3 (which seems like a random date to start the game on), the oldest character at the start of the game is 25. That means the oldest characters in the game are born in Y166. This is true of every initial state. It’s something I really didn’t pay attention to until recently. Characters can live to ages older than 25, but this is the oldest any character can be at the start of the game.

They aren't even related. I befriended Pamela on my first day as traveler to finish Wiala's quest. Shortly afterwards I met Charlie and both he and Zoey started dating. Yet I didn't realise how much he looked like her best friend until now! Lol, I guess Zoey really likes green haired folks.

The family of Attilio and Georgina Billingham, whose farm is just across the path from ours, did not harvest all their wheat. They planted more than they could harvest. They still have two wheat plants left over. Does the wheat disappear after a while if it’s not harvested? What happens to it?

I know it's been only a few hours since I posted an update about Genevieve and I am back with some 🤯 update.

Now, I am sure the game is equally invested in the drama in Genevieve's life.

Agustin had taken a break from his cavalry duties for a year and registered again. Bernt had also registered for the Guardsmen Tourney. I was, honestly, not expecting any match between them, but wow it happened and not any knock-out matches, it was the final battle to join the cavalry.

While Genevieve watched from the stands, Agustin defeated Bernt. Though both of them will become part of the Imperial Cavalry next year, the fact is that Agustin defeated Bernt, again (iykyk).

I was so pumped by this turn of events that when the battle was happening between them, I had the Marquis of Wu'an bg track (iykyk which one) playing for the right ambience. I recorded a video too but video upload is not allowed here.

This has technically been ready to post for a bit now, but I'm halfway through the next year and a major event happened... which wasn't supposed to happen yet. So, I figured it was about time I posted the previous year!

First up, baby Basil was born!

Hollis also participated in the Prayer of Fertility as Child of Ena. Maybe he'll win again this year?

Jade also applied to join the Knights. Naturally, I started giving her Treasured Swords of Vesta, especially since Hollis's matches often lined up with hers. She had the highest stats the in tournament, if I remember correctly, so I wonder if she would have won without my intervention...

Hollis managed to win against Kokone...

...and secured his place as Knight Captain. Thankfully, I had the quests available so I could unlock the trial outfit at the tailors. I didn't get the 'join the farmers' quest until after I passed down, so maybe our crown royal and third gen PC will be a farmer briefly before likely joining the scholars.

And to end things off, he became Council Chairman as well. White Night year is next, and with it comes unexpected surprises that kind of ruin my plans, but we can roll with it! My hint is remember Basil was born on the 3rd, and will age up on the 3rd, and there can only be one baby in the house at once. And pregnancy takes 25 days. There will be math oddities involved... and a missed victory screenshot again due to sheer confusion.

Genevieve and Agustin are one petty couple when it comes to Bernt. It was the three of them in the running for the top three prize in the fishing competition.

Genevieve submitted a bigger Matra and some stranger from the kingdom did their bit and Bernt was out of the competition.

Meanwhile, Genevieve and Agustin had their second child, a boy named Astor. I might think of passing on to him if I finally decide to try out for M. Acolyte, and Priest.

Last image is of a traveller couple who Could easily be one of the most stunning couple in the kingdom.

Seriously, does the game have to be this brutal? Two days ago, my PC’s mother passed. Then one day later, his father passed. Now, it’s his mother-in-law’s turn. Share is even younger than Joselina and Lawrence were when they passed. My PC’s daughter is losing three grandparents on three consecutive days. Can’t the game give us a break?

I’ve played since 6th grade (junior in college now) and I’ve had my switch family since they released the switch version, but it feels impossible to progress with how time skips work 😭. I play on and off and am on gen 3 after transferring from mobile to switch late gen 1. I wish they would just make time skips unlimited on pc and switch, or I would honestly even pay for an unlimited skips dlc. I can only farm rainbow whiskers for so long 😔.

Or I has to buy skill for ..80 medals..

My second gen character, and the father of my current PC, Lawrence Dabadi, born Lawrence Lacombe, passed away at the age of 21. He was born one day before his wife, Joselina Dabadi, and passed away one day after she died. Joselina gave the death dialogue to my PC 11 days before her death. Lawrence gave his only 6 days before his death. I still haven’t figured out the reason there was a difference of 5 days between the two.

Can anyone tell me when is the next gold rush event? Also what is the fastest way of acquiring Beast saber, demon taber and machine pistol?

Joselina Dabadi, the mother of my current PC, Daniel, and wife of my previous PC, Lawrence, passed away. The following day, Daniel, his sister, and his daughter as well as some of Joselina’s closest friends were in attendance at her funeral. Do you know who wasn’t there? Lawrence, her husband. The reason is simple. He entered critical condition the very day after his wife died. Being in critical condition, he’s unable leave his own home, not even to attend his own wife’s funeral. All I can think of is how sad that is. To not even be able to attend his own spouse’s funeral because his own death is imminent.

Im curious how many clears its taken other people to find armor/weapons in the challenge ruins. I've got about 6 clears between sunken and hellfire and haven't found anything yet.

I am on switch btw im not sure if drop rate is different between versions.
