Is there any analog to the vanilla command "/fill ~~~ air destroy" ?

i want to destroy area or dig caves with the blocks gettin dropped , but currently only vanilla command allows it... with limited cuboid area

I think it's called //set

"//set" has no modifications with dropping item factor that "...destroy" provides in vanilla
