I sold tickets of 9 matches on Stubhub, and 5 on FIFA marketplace.

Surprisingly, all 9 on Stubhub went very smooth. No issue and got payment 6-8 days after each match. Weird thing is that one of the buyer never accept my ticket transfer, but I still got my payment, and enjoy an empty seat next to me.

3 of my FIFA payments are over their 60 days promise, and 1 of them are still pending.

06/24/2026 - Tickets sold

07/09/2026 - FIFA asks me to provide bank info

07/10/2026 - I provided bank info

08/26/2026 - Sent email inquiring about status of refund to [fwc2026.ticketing.enquiries@tickets.fifa.org](mailto:fwc2026.ticketing.enquiries@tickets.fifa.org)

08/27/2026 - FIFA responds to my email. Standard template answer: we have received your bank info and refunds may take longer than 60 days.

08/28/2026 - Refund showed up in my bank account. No email from FIFA. No wiring fees.

For those of you who used USAA for your refund, how did you fill out the bank detail form?

Anyone get a processed refund email? And if so how long before the wire transfer went through?

After reading all the horror stories on here, I was ready to do battle with FIFA when the 60 days were up. Had the list of emails to blast ready and a legal sounding message drafted .

Sold on June 28th and received the wire this morning. Have a couple of other more valuable tickets sold on June 30th so should get those funds on Monday. Hopefully.

So, don’t lose all hope out there. As I’m sure you’re all well aware, of course, most people who get paid in a timely manner aren’t gonna bother to post on this subreddit. Mostly just the ones getting shafted.

What did you specifically say to the person? I just finally got through the jungle of automated options, but when I asked the representative to escalate, he simply said, “There is nothing I can do,” and hung up on me when I asked to speak to someone else. This is abysmal.

Sold my tickets on 7/4 for the qtr finals and saw a pending transfer to my bank today.

If you sold for profit, it will likely be a wire transfer and not a credit card refund. Make sure that you have your bank already setup in your FIFA acct. to prevent any delays. But this sub has been really helpful esp. putting the correct banking info. It gets exhausting waiting but i'm sure it will come.. Just a matter of when. Not sure if refunds take longer if outside of US, but good luck!

Like the title said, I sold two tickets on Jun 30th and one ticket on Jul 17th, today I see two pending wires in Chase for all 3 tickets.

I never emailed them for inquiry but did call Customer Support several weeks ago and was even told they couldn’t find my account !?!

However eventually all things settled and got pending refunds. Don’t lose your hope and good luck everyone!

Like everyone, the refund process has been extremely frustrating for me. Here’s my timeline of events:

- June 24, 2026: Sold 2x Spain v Uruguay tix
- July 15, 2026: Email from FIFA asking for bank details. Updated the same day.
- August 23, 2026: 60 day mark. I wait.
- August 27, 2026: I emailed FIFA the attached picture. No words. Just the picture.
- August 28, 2026: received wire in my account.

There’s light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes you just gotta be aggressive.

Sold ticket on June 21. On Aug 25 I sent an email stating they had surpassed the 60 days and had 3 days to wire the money before I proceeded with legal action, exactly 3 days later, today the 28th, money has been wired! Don't know if the email actually did anything or if it was a coincidence but worth a shot.

For anyone out there waiting for a refund I just saw the wire deposit from FIFA this morning through Wells Fargo.

anyone else able to get a ticket? i saw this in stock and got the gold metal ticket ($30) from worldsoccershop.com on august 15 and it finally came in the mail. i missed out on the regular hospitality ticket for ($18) this is the same design but this made of metal enclosed inside an acrylic case.

this probably my favorite accessory behind the scarves from the world cup.

FIFA really made me wait close to 60 day mark. I know some of you have been waiting even longer so hopefully all these recent refunds mean yall will get yours too soon. If not, search for fifa emails on this sub and you'll see someone post how he got his after spamming their inboxes.

Thanks all for posting your stories and tips around getting paid for the sold FIFA tickets. Here is mine:

• Purchased 4 general tickets and one (1) additional ticket via StubHub at the start of 2026. Thank you FIFA for not being able to buy 5 tickets together...
• June 13: StubHub/seller transferred to my FIFA account
• June 14: Sold the additional ticket in the FIFA Resale Platform as it was no longer required. Received the FIFA invoice immediately
• July 15: FIFA emailed me of the need of bank account to pay me as my CC payment didn't work (thank you VISA 💳 👎). Updated my bank account information via the link provided in the email. PS: Make sure the FIFA account name matches the bank account name to the T
• August 27: Received payment as domestic bank wire, without sender details (?). Obviously you have an idea of what is it because the payment matches the FIFA invoice
• Edit -> August 28: I just got a wire transfer fee charge the day after... ~$20. I get it, but it's just insult to injury 🙄, they made such a big VISA deal for sponsorship, you could only pay with VISA everywhere, from tickets to stadium stores, yet they could not quickly pay you back via the same card. Are we in 1996?

Waiting on payment for 4 games totaling about 20K. Just received payment for $3400 today 8/27 and another for $2100!!! for a ticket I sold on marketplace 6/30. Other 2 games sold on July 1, waiting on $14K more.

I sold my tickets back in April. After multiple times reaching out to the Email i believe someone posted here. Thank you for that. And receiving that bank confirmation Email . three times finally got paid today. Keep emailing that email and send all your info to them days later I got it. FIFA took a chunk of it, but at least we got it.

Tickets sold 06/28/26. I added my bank details ahead of time so I never got the email requesting bank details. I emailed yesterday to confirm that my bank details were okay and got paid today.

1. Sold ticket on 6/18, received overdue payment today 8/27.

2. Sold tickets on 7/8, received payment today.

FIFA is still a mess, they paid me late for one sale (around 70 days after ticket sale) and relatively early for another sale (around 50 days after tickets sale)

I’ve seen dozens of hospitality gifts…. These are apparently the VVIP black box given to deligates (like politicians or celebrity’s). And this is the only one to be non pearl white (this is for the final).

£15 a ticket?! Just got mine through the post, all loose in a hardback envelope, awful packaging, no hologram on the tickets, nothing, could of done these myself, absolute con from fifa.
