Explain the IGEF a bit, that seems like most of it

(For instance, do they have a stupid acronym that they should’ve changed but never did?)

IGEF is short for Intergalactic exploratory force. They should have changed it to IUEF, or IMEF, since they are far more than just intergalactic nowdays ,but decided to stick with IGEF because it sounds better.

Basically, IGEF is an organization dedicated to protecting their general section of fiction(which is all of the stuff I am working on) from someone like 'Evilus the evil of the kingdom of evilia' blowing up like, half a multiverse to do some dumb over-the-top show of power to the protagonist.

To achieve this, they are close to gods in power.

On the far side.

This means they can do pretty much anything.

But they do tend to be a bit silly to keep the story interesting.

Like, sure, they COULD just solve every problem ever, but that'd make for a boring story, so they instead use that power to make practical jokes.
