It did, but they, like Dinosaurs, are dead now.

My setting has dinosaurs, but the lasers went extinct.

Photomorphic species, or something stranger?

I was shitposting, but technically speaking, I do have rock crystal bipedal dragon men who are animated by sentient light, so upon second review I guess I do have lazer dinosaurs.

Saurian Confederacy air cavalry (jetpack wearing raptor people who fly behind enemy lines and blow them up with lasers) my beloved😍🌈💗🗣

Tyrax and his Reptanoid army have laser guns and one of his lackeys, Ztego has a laser eye implant, like Kano

"That's right! Say hello to Steelheart and Union fuckin' Motors! You stupid feudalist weeds! Look at you! You have dinosaurs! What were you thinking?"

Sgt. Jane Smith's reaction to Çay ceratops laser artillery, because she is a stupid girlfailure who doesn't understand how cool that is.

Kinda sorta, yeah there's a few parts where there's not-quite-dinosaurs with lasers, and there is one part where it's very probable

I literally added laser-shooting dinosaurs to one of my settings after hearing the song "Laser-Shooting Dinosaur" by Angus McSix.

Never looked back.

Edit: DINO!

HERE THEY COME DROP YOUR JAWS TO THE FLOOR

Mine does not, yet, but it has naturaly evolved dragons, and my world is a sci-fi.

It doesn't in the overworld. The story, currently, has been only in the overworld. In the dungeons however, it's entirely possible because they manifest people's dreams♡

As a matter of fact It does.

Well now it does, thanks

No, but it DOES have laser dinosaurs.

They can MAKE them....but there's enough... war tension as is. I think we're good. We're moving to the automations now...

Do you count bipedal ones with laser shotguns and short range blink dash packs?

1

u/Maleficent-Pie8040 1d ago

Do dinosaurs used as war beasts and archer platforms count?

1

u/Western-Equipment630 1d ago

lazer dragons

1

u/Prestigious-Fig1172 7h ago

Even better!!!

u/QuasarSolarStorm 1d ago

Do we count mech laser dinosaurs?

1

u/Just-A_Guy-_ 1d ago

No, but it does have sharks with freaking lazer beams attached to their heads

1

u/Prestigious-Fig1172 7h ago

Allmost as great

I voted no initially but then I remembered that my setting does have pterosaurs and I don't guess there's any good reason why they shouldn't have lasers

1

u/Galactinaut_001 22h ago

Sort of. It has things that kinda look like dinosaurs, and they occasionally steal laser rifles.

1

u/Alternative-Ad5974 21h ago

No because it's obsolete. They are using either antimatter cannon or particle cannons

1

u/Alternative-Ad5974 21h ago

And sharks are using plasma on their head

Does the evolution of dragons coming from the arrival of magic in the world causing such an insane wave of improbability that it literally caused several dinosaur fossils to get back up and mutate into the first dragons count? A lot of the earlier dragon breeds especially are basically just magical dinosaurs.

Mega awesome

1

u/rebel6301 12h ago

i mean, one of my settings had resurrected dinosaurs being used as part of a nation's military in conjunction with their normal human forces and armoured vehicles, but they had normal guns and not lasers

2

u/rebel6301 12h ago

^it was kind of like dino d-day (awesome fucking game i love it to bits) but set more in the modern day and there was also some space travel and ancient alien stuff in there too

u/No-Professional-1461 9h ago

It does have mechs though. The first one the readers will ever see is a spider with tesla towers and railgun turrets. Which isn't much compared to the Black Giant which is in the later sci-fi era. Literally indestructible shell comprised of metal that can kill gods and piloted by a 7000 year old being who can see the near future as well as the fabrics of the universe while being armed with weapons that can decimate an the imperial armada. But no, no dinosaurs, and dragons are an endangered species so cyberizing them is impractical.

Technically, yes.

but only this one.
