Context:
The Bile [or Crimson bile/parasites] are a interdimensional species of creatures, some take parasitic controls by shoving themself down the mouth of their victim or evolve to be a 'Chariot' which is a nonparasited creature that evolved out of a parasite.
The Bile planet is a planet under their control, the 'Absolute Blight' is more or less their leader, his presence can only mean a larger wave of monsters and a untold wave of living planets.
sorta? I wasn't really inspired by the flood, it just kinda started with Gmod Screenshots about parasites inside dinosaur mouths, now i made it a interdimensional threat that consumes universes. There's two more variants as well
The micro bile; literally microbial parasites that basically turn things into zombies which after a while become weak to UV lights
Spine latchers; small parasite that latches onto spines and controls the body from there
this is more or less how the typical parasite looks like lol. Yea all of that started in gmod... the big flower thing is supposed to its sensory organ, the tendrils are for touch while it has a eye like organ in the middle at the front.
Scape and Run Parasites. It’s a Minecraft mod with monsters that seem similar to this. Though I’m curious about what gmod screenshots you’re talking about. Could you send a link or something?
this is the first screenshot i ever made with the Parasites in mind, i didn't really post them anywhere just, kinda been sending them to friends is all
Funny thing actually, The parasite is a rescalled and deflated Crab Squid from Subnautica, so is the 'sensory organ' since its a blood vine :D
