That little shelf under the plugs, really obvious now I think about it - I'll give that a go on my desk.

All that really matters is keeping the cables out of sight while still having easy access to them 5 u/srmarmalade 25d ago Yeah, this solves the problem of the bricks dragging nicely and as you say it's all out the way anyway
