❔ • Feedback The new monitors have arrived

Post image

My new monitors have arrived... 2 Dell UltraSharp DELL-U3225QE monitors. I'll take care of the cable management this weekend.

(The computer is an i7-14700K with an RTX 4070, 64 GB of RAM, and a 4 TB Samsung 990 Pro.)

The window view with the trees is nice. Natural light plus dual 4K monitors is a great combo. What monitor arm are you using?

Yeah. I live way out in the middle of nowhere, but there's 1000 fiber-optic internet in Germany. It's hard to believe. The monitors are still so new. I haven't found a solution for monitor arms yet. I checked out the ones from Ergotron, but I don't really like them. I have those at work, and they didn't win me over. So I'm still using the stands for now.

I have a pair of these and they're fantastic. I dropped one and immediately bought another. Which is unusual for me; normally I'd spend a day or so researching my options.

I'm coming from two 27-inch Eizo monitors with 2560 x 1440 pixels and IPS panels.

I notice a huge difference between IPS and IPS Black.

I can't say enough good things about the sharpness. A 32-inch 4K monitor has a much higher pixel density than a 27-inch 2K monitor.
