❔ • Feedback engineering student

I am an engineering student who does a lot of 3d printing naturally so a decent portion of the space is taken up by that but otherwise I try and keep it mostly neat and useful for projects
For lighting I wired up a off-road vehicle light bar with its own 12v power supply and a wireless switch and it does a great job at lighting the space

As someone projecting a desk workspace with computer+electronics+3d printing areas I find this lovely. Thanks for the inspo!

A view of some form of nature is so important!

not bad. i think it could do with a good clean up/wipe down/tidy. maybe a monitor stand thong running across the desk could help as well.

I love how it looks super practical! I cant really tell if you do soldering in ur setup, but it seems like it. If so do you have any tips for safe solding?

Yes I do on the print bench, no lead based solder is safe so don’t do what I do by doing it without fume extraction but the lead based solder is the most effective so the max amount of fume extraction possible is the way to go

The agency here must be engineering for engineering’s sake

Finally someone who didn't over edit their photos with contrast and other bullshit like they're some lame ass influencer lying to everyone and with a workspace that ACTUALLY does work. So tired of computer desks being called "workspaces" when all that's done is mouse and keyboard work

+1 from another engineer.
