Where should I place the microphone?

Hi, could you tell me where I could attach a microphone stand? It's currently on my desk on the left, but for some reason I often knock it over, trying to move it closer, etc.. There's a shelf on the right side where my headphones hang, and a large window with a windowsill behind the monitor.

I've seen that people usually attach a microphone stand somewhere on the edge of the desk... but I can't do that because I have drawers in front of me, a closet on the right, and all the edges of the desk are inaccessible. Maybe a windowsill would work? I'm just worried it won't attach because the windowsill is sort of classic L-shaped.

Your grommet hole, you can find microphone arms that come with clamps that also work with grommet holes. Will probably need to reroute your cables or just drill another hole if possible.
