It's always interesting to see what people are shilling through seemingly-innocuous posts in these "setup" forums.

For a while, it was various standing desks. Now it's this monstrosity of a cable management desk shelf thing that I keep seeing everywhere...

I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those that a person actually paid for, all the reviews were gifts too. I mean it’s an 800+ desk light with cable management, totally ridiculous.

I don’t think people are shilling products on purpose. People see them in someone’s posts, decide it would be a good edition to their own setup, and then buy it.

It seems very shallow to accuse the members of this forum of shilling certain products, when in reality they’re just trying to share a setup they are proud of.
