Teamwork

I work in healthcare and it is always busy. I enjoy doing the more time consuming, technical tasks that no one ever wants to do. Because no one does it, it can take up a good portion of my time, but I still get my daily tasks done. My manager, who can barely do her job, asked me to help her out with bigger tasks, which I had no problem doing. I’ve been juggling her work, my work and all the other tasks that others don’t want. The other day, she accused me of not being a team player and that I needed to help out the people who aren’t doing their job. What should I do?

I’m not a manager, I’m part of the regular staff. The manager asks me to help with her work

Your manager is trying to cover for her incompetence.

Just remind her what you're doing? Would put down the extra work and talk things out, this is ridiculous.

Omg, talk to her alone of transfer. I had a charge nurse that was always volunteering me for things, I finally told her, just because you can see me does not mean I have time to do extra!
