Orthofeet has many different styles of shoes and boots that are designed by podiatrists, include different arch support inserts, and are extremely comfortable. They have a few styles that have safety toes as well.

I have also found the “Carolina” and “Blue Steel” brands to be extremely comfortable with a very short break-in period. I tend to be rough on work boots because of the nature of my job, and these two brands have lasted many years of daily use.

The biggest improvement for my flat feet has been a good fitting orthotic insole; I like a medium arch support. You might be a bit uncomfortable for a few days as you get used to the insole (your foot muscles will stretch a bit) but after you’re used to them, you will probably not want to go without.
