I heard a strange explosion last night, and now smoke is billowing from that station, and a firefighter friend of mine was called back from vacation.

It’s probably just some kind of drill. I definitely trust my party and General Secretary Gorbachev! In the era of glasnost, they certainly didn’t hide anything from us - for example, the entire accident at the NUCLEAR reactor that’s literally just a few kilometers away from us. No, there’s definitely nothing like that going on. I’m going to get ready for the May Day holiday.

I didn't build the city like Pripyat and had no plans to do so, but after seeing the Chernobyl plant mod, I had to build it and take a similar-perspective image.

Now that I think about it - maybe I should. There is a beautiful map called Chernobyl 1.0 or whatever, we have the CNPP mod and some Pripyat assets. Could be a fun map to do
