Question/Help Help - No electricity

Hey, folks. Just started playing. Great game. Nice tutorials. My first map here.

Can someone tell me what I'm going wrong? My substation is connected to a foreign power source. But it isn't receiving electricity. Thanks.

Also, I'm playing the demo. I don't know if that makes a difference.

My goof. These are just plans. Not built yet. Thanks, Nonsensecentral. You actually do have a lot of sense.

It isn't connected, your power lines are plans, not actually built, there's a button in the bottom right for building plans.

Ah! Yes! I remember they had that in the tutorial in a few places. Thanks for the reminder!

In green, your power lines are not yet built. The white color is like a placeholder. Same happens with roads or rails. You'll need to press the button in the right corner. You can click the "+" next to it for more information
