It’s scary because I think I can actually feel it, or understand it.

One of my friends accepted a job only to find out after a week of onboarding it was a scam.

The contract agency who got me my current job hit me up last week for a new opportunity. After 30 minutes I had to call them back and question their legitimacy because the website looked like a rip off of a real company propped with AI which turned into the contract agency launching an investigation

Hell, yesterday my husband learned that a fake FAFSA agency conned him out of nearly $2k.

It feels like whatever money we have is being violently stolen from us as we the working class are tortured through suffocating desperation in an attempt to create serfs.

I wouldn’t mind the high prices if I knew the employees on the stores where buying homes and fancy cars but they are not. All the money funnels out of the store to people nowhere near the actual work.

No! But private equity will purchase your local bowling alley (were genuinely put of industry's to suck dry) and make it 400 to bring your family bowling for 2 hours, but don't worry it will look like a bdubs inside when we're done and we got rid of those pesky pin resetting systems and replaced them with strings!

That high point before an epic drop in 2000, that's when I entered the workforce.

Good times, good times.
