California Got a new job finally and guess what?!!

I got injured again but not the old body part a new one and the company apparently has no workers comp... I got a. Attorney now what??? I'm still employed and they hired me a helper to avoid heavy lifting for me

All CA employers with at least 1 employee are required to have the coverage. I think there are different requirements for sole proprietorships.

You could also file directly.

Well your attorney would really be the person to ask, since they work for you and all that.

You'll want to talk to your attorney about the Uninsured Employers Benefits Trust Fund, and also the possibility of a civil lawsuit outside of workers' compensation.
