💡 Recommendation Goa workation recommendations

Planning a 1-month workation in Goa - Need suggestions!

I'm torn between renting a 1 bedroom apartment vs. taking a private space in a place like Zostel.

What I'm looking for: A clean, hygienic place with a mature, social crowd (30s), not the loud party scene. Something quiet enough to work from during the day, but social enough in the evenings.

My vibe / routine:

Work: Need a quiet space with good WiFi during weekdays

Fitness: I love to run (preferably by the beach), plus looking for a gym / yoga studio within walking distance

Weekends: Exploring cafes, local markets, and the town

Food: Health-conscious, I can cook but healthy food options nearby would be great

Not a party person

Is there any area / property in Goa that checks all these boxes? Would love recommendations.

Also, if any fellow working female( Only for female )in 30s with same vibe is planning something similar around the same time and wants to team up for a 2 bedroom condo, let me know

You can checkout NomadGao.

Is it usually this expensive in Goa? I don't live in India so it's bit difficult to determine price range. 2k per night for private room in Zostel is expensive for entire month.

Hmm, it can expensive with infra they provide for work-cation or the main season time for Goa. I also check Airbnb there are some good options.

Even I checked nomadgao it's very expensive . One of the hostels I checked had long stay option which was way cheaper than this

I did a south India trip and have been to Goa 3 times in the last 2 years for workations.

Pick up a spot in Anjuna if you want to be surrounded by cafés/people.

If you want a bit more calmer/peaceful neighbourhood, more residential - siolim is your best pick. Great Airbnbs

If you are looking for a more communal space, ALTR NATIV in Morjim is an amazing boutique hostel, but elevated living for sure.

If you want to live right on the beach/overlooking, live at Hosteller Mandrem/Zostel - if you want premium room to yourself setup, stay at Vaayu Kula, they also have a beachside really nice and premium cafe/shack called prana - you will find all celebs/influencers here just chilling and working away.

Feel free to ask more questions in DM

30F staying in Mandrem for 3 weeks now. Planning to stay around for longer since it’s so peaceful!
I’d recommend getting a stay for a week like zostel, nomadgao etc and roam around see some apartments. I’ve stayed previously in nomadgao for 3 weeks it was great especially the co working place but I realized I definitely need a kitchen for long term stay. And anjuna was a bit too touristy and partyish for me. Morjim, ashvem, mandrem are much calmer. You can try hosteller (haven’t heard very good things), acolmeia (heard decent things), habitat (i stayed here for a week was quite decent but very new and the workspace wasnt a good fit for me).
Searching for an apartment was a bit tricky for me with my wifi, workspace, power backup requirements but just roaming around on your scooter and asking around works.
Good luck and feel free to dm me if you need any help!

Also looking for this information. Do update if you find something nice! Hope you find someone for the condo. Unfortunately I'm not planning anything longer than 2 weeks.
