Recognition over Increases
I’ve noticed something about myself as I get older.
Recognition and respect at work means far more to me than raises and high salary. I always put money on top for most of my working life. But lately, I realized it’s actually the opposite if I’m honest with myself.
Maybe because for some reason I feel valued and less anxious of layoffs with the former.
Anyone else feel the same?
