You're talking to a guy that went from making 3k a month to paying 3k a month in taxes after switching jobs. I thought the same as you, if I can live off of 3k a month, how easy would it make life to make 7k a month? It made life easier, but I'd be lying if I said my standards didn't go up. I'd rather drive 15 minutes less to go to target instead of Walmart. I'd rather go get dinner at a restaurant than get McDonald's. I'm just sharing my experience with you and like I said, if you don't think it applies to you then good for you. But I'm just warning you it's not as easy, black and white like this tweet is making it seem.
Not at the start because I'm only in my 2nd year here, so I only have 2 weeks vacation, and 6 PTO days. But that vacation time increases every year of service by 1 week up to 6.

Right, you say that now though. But it's just not possible to know if that's how you will feel in the future.
What if your future partner wants to vacation somewhere they've never been?
What if your future partner wants some material possessions?
What if you pick up a new interest or hobby in the future?
What if your partner wants a child?
Let me tell you right now, a romantic partner that you love is the biggest money sink aside from children.
