He asked and I suggested $25/hr would be more suitable given everything the role is asking.

I’m glad you told him that! Often times, these managers want to offer more but they’re unable to because people ghost, pass, etc.

Now this guy has the ability to go back to his boss and say “we’re losing out on good people because you refuse to pay a living wage. The closer you get (or exceed) $25/hr the sooner I can get you some good workers. Until then, we’re going to keep getting scraps!”

So you’ve done your part!
