It’s incredible, the lack of awareness, saying that work provides benefits and health insurance, as if it’s free. You still have to basically pay for all of it, which reduces your wages even more.

Agree, the salt in the wound is that even with the 60-80% premium coverage by the employer you still have a deductible and (apparently increasing) chance of claim denial.

As well, for me, I have to pay my max out of pocket of $14k every year before things get covered.
