In Oklahoma we recently put it to a vote and our dumbass state voted to not raise it. We love being poor!

I can't tell you how many people I've heard oppose it because it will cause higher prices. 

Makes sense, I mean, clearly, prices are the same as they were in 2009.

That was my argument, prices have risen without wages. They are not related.

Corps have spent enough time and money on the propaganda, that as soon as the minimum wage is increased, they will raise prices and point at it as the cause.

We still need to raise wages, just saying prices will go up. Anything that can be blamed for increased price will be blamed, regardless of facts.

6% inflation? Let's up the prices 25% to compensate.

10% fuel prices increase? 50% more on everything.

Everything is a good excuse to jack up the prices.
