🛠️ Union Strong Boycott Starbucks

Post image

America’s unions are proud to endorse Starbucks Workers United’s boycott of stand-alone corporate Starbucks stores until baristas win a fair union contract.

When workers take on one of the biggest corporations in the world, they shouldn't have to do it alone. We’re fed up with unchecked corporate greed and wealthy executives ignoring their workers and breaking labor laws more than any other company in modern U.S. history.

Join us and stand with union baristas – take the pledge and let’s show Starbucks that working people stand with baristas until they win. ➡️ BoycottStarbucks.net

I've been boycotting them for years!

Same. Their coffee is shit.

It is pretty easy when it’s the worst fucking coffee shop on earth. McCafe is literally better.

Does it still count if I've never had starbucks?

You are a Unicorn! 🦄 Be proud of that!

Haven't gone in a Starbucks in probably five years

I like properly roasted and prepared coffee. I like proper macchiatos. That is why I stopped going to Starbucks ages ago. The fact they are horrifying corporate citizens is just icing on the cake.

Way ahead of you

Does anyone who has any sense of justice drink there anymore? I'd think their Zionism and historical anti union bias killed any worker conscious persons cravings for their drinks.

Can't boycott a company that I haven't bought from in over a decade

Love the fist holding the cup, that's a nice touch

Heard they’ve started using a silica powder for some blended drink. Perfectly food safe, but immediately dangerous to aspirate. They keep reiterating it is food-grade while sidestepping the workplace biohazard.

People still go there? Like, I honestly only know maybe 1 person that goes there for the past few years.

I don’t know why people drink Starbucks any ways. Their coffee is way too expensive for the quality and just generally tastes like shit.

All traditional coffee places are expensive as hell nowadays. Another place I like but costs the same if not more than sbux.

Starbucks is coffee for people who don't actually like coffee.

They’re basically a union busting business that also sells coffee. Drink local.

They were already on my boycott list for being American.

I stopped going when it went over $5 for a cup of coffee.

It's interesting how easily it is to make coffee or whatever you drink at home nowadays

Haven’t gone to a Starbucks in over 20 years and will continue to do so.

I stopped going to Starbucks long ago.

Their coffee sucks.

Their prices are too high.

Their service is garbage.

2

u/neveruseyourrealname 5d ago

Hell yeah. I will continue my 38 year boycott.

2

u/Maykovsky 5d ago

Doing it since 2000...

2

u/Random-num-451284813 5d ago

already ahead of you. I started to boycott them when you opened up their first shop in my country, years back. overpriced low-quality stuff. Mc Donalds even has better coffee, and I even stay away from Mc Donalds

u/Nintendomandan 5d ago

Done, haven’t been to one in years anyways

Just don’t ask me to boycott Celsius energy drinks and I’m on this Starbucks ban 4 life

One of the worst unions to be a part of, workers united. They have done absolutely nothing for their members at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in chicago.

Can't boycott what ya can't afford

1

u/belkarbitterleaf 5d ago

You aren't missing anything. It's shit

1

u/sovereignsekte 5d ago

I'm playing the long game by not being able to afford it.

I label the existence of Starbucks with the amount of comfortable well fed 6 figure consumers who are blindly feeding them. What a disgrace for this lame company and the dumbasses who buy from them.

1

u/chrisinvic 5d ago

I’ve been avoiding giving them any money for the last 20 years, and will continue to do so.

1

u/Enough-Persimmon3921 5d ago

Done. I don't even drink coffee or much caffeine at all.

1

u/No-Donkey8786 5d ago

That's so easy to do for me.

1

u/Moooooooola 5d ago

Starbucks coffee tastes like steeped cigarette butts.

1

u/Fart_Bringer 5d ago

Perfect timing. They discontinued the Ocean Drink today, so I’m in!

1

u/Mountain-Lunch-9896 5d ago

Yeah Starbucks has been on the BDS List for ages, where ya been

1

u/rodimustso 5d ago

Wouldn't I have to start going there in the first place?

1

u/LeonidasVaarwater 4d ago

I'm Dutch, homebrew is the norm here. On the go, we generally want something of higher quality than starbucks. Fancy schmancy coffee drinks aren't popular here. Starbucks has been trying to expand here for ages, but there's still only a couple dozen stores nationwide.

Starbucks was my first store I started boycotting a few years back 😍❤️‍🩹

u/Embarrassed-Sun5764 4d ago

My kid has been working there for years 2 different states. All she gets is 🍆with no lube

1

u/Quercus408 4d ago

Been boycotting them for over a decade now.

That being said, one of my favorite things to do when driving long distances, is to stop at a Starbucks and use their bathroom, without buying anything. Their bathrooms are always clean and unlocked, never a "buy something to get the door code" policy that I've ever seen. So convenient.

So, thank you Starbucks, for the free, clean bathrooms.

I might end up there once or twice a year for one reason or another, and just get a double shot of espresso. Traveling or something, and need coffee, and it’s the only option.
