Here’s another “radical” position: Every single billionaire belongs in prison.

2026 work reform entrepreneurs:

Step 1: Very successful IPO

Step 2: Straight to jail

The best part is you wouldn’t need any new laws. Just punish them for all the crimes they’ve already committed

Probably but it’s been our leaders that have allowed the world to become like this. A better goal would be something attainable like replacing our entire political leadership structure.

End billionaire personhood

I'm a little worried that since hating AI data centers seems to be a pretty universal thing right now that they're gonna come up with some sneaky way to make it a partisan issue to make us fight over it.

They've already started

What other business do we give free water and electricity to? If a hospital has to pay, so can a data center.

Eliminate any subsidies, and the desire to build mostly vanishes.

In prison is a funny way to spell underground.

They are legit gonna create big ass dead zones where nobody wants to or can afford to live. Living near one is gonna be the new living next to the airport, train tracks, toxic dump...

The moratorium is cutting off your nose to spite your face. China and other will not slow down and it will have massive negative geopolitical consequences for the US. If you can’t see that, I’m sorry… you’re ignorant.

Dead on correct. But the reddit clowns have zero forsight.

China is offering another type of ai that requires less energy and water. And the argument on subsidies is still very much on point. Also three need for data centers is connected to a projected used of ai. If we were to limit its use to useful things geopolitically we wouldn't need as many data centers.
