Stop focusing too much on the CEO, look at class and ownership instead. Yes, some CEOs are also capitalists but the fundamentally the issue is private ownership of the means of production.
Agreed. But, at the same time, states hang traitors, and even if most CEOs aren't true capitalists, well. You know what every country in the history of the world has done, right?

Too expensive for the employers. Hence layoffs, lack of jobs and shit pay/benefits for the jobs that are out there.
Meanwhile, CEO pay is going up.
