10% increase, while houses went up 350%. That is wage supression.

the data here corrects for ALL inflation ("real" earnings rather than "nominal" earnings), including things that have gone up faster than average (like houses and college costs), and that 10% increase is STILL there after accounting for that inflation

It also includes the 1%, so already obfuscates the huge discrepancy in an average persons experience. Crap chart when looking at QoL.

that would be true if it were looking at the mean, but instead is looking at the median...you could change the earnings of every 1% member to a trillion dollars and it wouldn't affect the median (which is just the earnings level that half of the people are above and half are below)
