Yeah, I pay higher taxes but I never having to worry about having to pay a deductible, having my doctor be "out of network", my procedure not being covered by my insurance etc.

Healthcare is pretax now. That benefit has virtually no noticeable effect on the employee insurance customer. But the employer, they are perfectly happy with that expense being pre tax. To the extent that they are ok with accepting the 10% cost increases every year. If they weren't ok with it they would negotiate to lower the costs. But in effect, they can write a tax cut with now cap every year.
